(shadowedpaw doesnt rly smell that much like a dark clan cat yet. i said that in my first post)

Reluctantly, he let their argument drop. Shadowedpaw glanced at Jayclaw. "I haven't been here that long either you know," he muttered. Then he looked back at Ravenstar. "Plus, I have a collar that some rouges gave me in the city." He twisted his neck so they could get a better look at it. It was ragged and worn, the blue fading away. The large dog tooth that hung there glimmered in the light shining into the den. "I can just say I was using the tooth to try and get it off."

Jayclaw lashed his tail. "True enough, Shadowedpaw. But a mother and son, who would guess they would be spying the clans? Dawnsnow looks harmless, so do you, no offense. But I know you both can handle yourselves. Ravenstar," The tom meowed, looking at the leader. "I still say my plan would not cause as much attention. They could just pretend to be from horseplace." |

Ravenstar thought about it for a few more moments. "You have a good point Jayclaw! I like your plan very much." he complimented. Oh, wasn't this a rare day. He was handing out compliments left and right. "Mother and son would not cause much suspicion. I approve of this plan!" he thought a little more. "You three talk to Dawnsnow and formulate a plan. Spend the whole day on it if you need. Make sure you get stories straight and figure out what you will do if something goes wrong. Come back when you have it figured and run it by me. I want you gone by tomorrow!" he ordered.

He nodded, and quickly slipped out of the den. The apprentice looked around the camp, wandering where Dawnsnow was. He couldn't wait to go and find out more about the other cats...even if they were the ones who killed his father.

Darkheart glowered for a moment. The nodded to his leader and slipped out. He padded to Shadowedpaw, "Good luck getting past the big one, runt." He mummbled to him. As he recalled there was a huge cat that prowled with one of the clans. Then he slipped away into the forest, not bothering to say goodbye to anyone before starting his life as a loner... or a spy for that matter.

Dawnsnow padded up to Shadowedpaw and Jayclaw. "What's this about a mother and kits?" She demanded, her tail lashing. The creamy she-cat sat down and licked her chest a few times before glowering at them.
Jayclaw padded out to meet Dawnsnow, when she demanded to know what was going on, he explained while watching Darkheart go. "That mousebrain... He needs to plan with us." He turned to Dawnsnow and Shadowedpaw. "We need pet names for you... Missy? Sassy? Saucy? Shadowedpaw, what would be somthing you would respond too. We need you to be the most able to spy, as I think they will confine Dawnsnow to the nursery." His ears flicked, if this cat said Scrouge, he'd claw his ears off. |

The big bobcat glared silently and arched her back when the pair began to fight, the apprentice and the warrior. Toxicpsill turned her head away and spat in response, but her silence kept her in check. And then a good suggestion was thrown in, one Toxicspill could see actually work. She couldn't go for the life of her, she was to big, too bobcat / lynx like, and her words were too aggressive to be compared to a kittypet or some loner. Maybe a rogue, yes. But a clan wouldn't accept a rogue. Her slitted eyes merely watched the others talk. |

The young cat rifled through all the possibilities for makeshift names. Thinking back to all the different cats he had met in the city, he remembered some of their names--Whisker, Rock, Speckle, and even more. Shadowedpaw flicked his ears thoughtfully. "Um..."
The small black cat racked his mind. "How about...Darky, or Blacky? Those sound like kittypet names."

Toxicspill twitched her ears with a snort of contempt, "Shadow." it was a simple word, but wouldn't it do? The apprentice's name was Shadowpaw anyway, and she had heard of plenty of kittypets get called Shadow by their twoleg owners anyhow. |

The big she cat caught Shadowedpaw[sorry!]'s gaze and held it there for several moments, before turning her head and gazing into the darkness that surrounded them, her ears swiveling in all directions. |
