Shadowed Forms {MAIN RP}

[X. Acidstar .X]

Acidstar opened her maw to greet Mudclaw, but decided to acknowledge the dirty tom with a snort, but hidden within the snort was amusement. Her eyes were narrowed and her body stood straight, a well exercised posture, and her black paws had bits of leaves stuck to them. Acidstar scented the fox almost as soon as Berrypaw, and the hair along the back of her shoulders bristled and she hissed in rage, "Keep the fox in front of you, don't ever turn your back on one, they will rip you apart in seconds," She knew the senior warriors knew this already, but it was a mere reminder, and she lashed her tail angrily, her claws flexing and digging into the ground, her ears swiveling in all directions and a deep growl rising from her furry chest.

Berrypaw lashed her tail twice and stepped up beside Acidstar, could all five of them drive the orange beast away? She shuddered at the thought of meeting those teeth in battle but kept her face emotionless and clawed the ground hungrilly.

Webwhisker spun around; his entire body bristling and letting a wild hiss come from him. He bunched his muscles, then looked over at Acidstar, what was she waiting for? His tail lashed twice and he looked back at the fox, eyes glowing. "Say the word Acidstar, I'll flay this peice of foxdung."

Lionhawk was with them, silent as usual, watching the fox warily. It snarled at them all, and Lionhawk hissed back. The creature didn't like the look of all of the cats, obviously, but then the brush rustled, and another one emerged. It was younger, perhaps one of the older pups, but it was almost full grown. The tom narrowed his eyes and waited for a signal from Acidstar.

[Seth]

Mudclaw let out an angry hiss as well. "Stupid beast!" he spat. He posistioned himself slightly infront of Berrypaw. She was, after all, an apprentance. he lashed out at the dog with long black claws, though they were still a fox length away from the dog. Mudclaw crouched low ready to spring, his claws unsheathed and ready to be used when ever need be.

[X. Acidstar .X]

Acidstar's rumble deepened when the younger, obviously a kit from an earlier birthing, but a fox nonetheless, stepped into the clearing, curiosity etched on its face, as its mother eyed all of the cats wearily. It might have had second thoughts when all five cats were there, but with two of them? If a fox was desperate enough or pissed enough, it could shred a cat into two. "Now!" The signal was quick and cunning, and Acidstar raced forward towards the mother fox, claws unsheathed as she dived for the fox's legs, swerving past its gaping jaws.

[Seth]

While Acidstar lept for the mother fox, Mudclaw thought difforently. With the mother fox side tracked he swipped his paw across the face of the younger dog. It snarled and snaped at him. He dodged the blows, always retreating to the same position infront of Berrypaw. He had a slight soft spot for younger cats and always felt the need to protect them.

The mother fox yipped and spun, batting at Acidstar and raking its claws down her side, and then it whirled to the right, aiming a paw at Webwhisker and trying to bite at Baypaw, the apprentice.

[Seth]

Mudclaw's widened with fear for the apprentance. He hissed and raked his claws up and down the fox. She wouldn't come anywhere close to hurting that cat. He sunk his teeth into the dog's shoulder. It grabbed his leg in it's mouth and threw him to the ground witha loud thump.

Webwhisker yowled and leaped in front of Berrypaw, the dog's teeth catching his shoulder and he yowled again. He clawed down the dog's shoulder with a furious hiss and latched onto the dogs neck, still raking his very long claws down the fox's sensitive neck. He looked over at Mudclaw, who was in the mother's jaws. He swiped at the young dog, clawing it's eye and pushing it back with a furious hiss. Tail lashing, eyes wild and claws raking down the dog with a fury.

Berrypaw yowled and thrust herself at the mother, she latched onto the chest and dug her claws into the fox's neck. Tail lashing, she spun around, claws still stuck in the mother. Her claws were ripped out like thorns and that sent the mother fox reeling back and she dropped Mudclaw. Berrypaw hissed again and dropped to the ground, she glanced at Webwhisker, who needed no help. He was fighting with all the power in his body, he was a large cat, and was an easy match for the young fox. She turned her attention back to Mudclaw, the to the fox. "I'll flay you!" She yowled, thrusting herself upon the mother and bearing down with all the fury in her. Her short tail lashed as she caught the dog's eye and yowled in triumph.

[Seth]

Mudclaw pulled himself up on his shoulders. With a hiss he leapt at the mother, sinking his claws into her shoudlers. He gave Berrypaw a disaproving glare as she put her self infront of the dog's jaws.

Berrypaw glowered at Mudclaw. "I can take care of myself!" she said, digging her claws into the foxes nose and ripping them out. She leaped down and rolled under the fox, kicking up with her powerful back legs she managed to make her loose her footing, maybe it was enough...

Webwhisker hissed and lunged at the dog again, tearing at it's flanks as he leaped onto it's back. He felt teeth sink into his scruff and pull him off, Webwhisker yowled and dug his claws into the young foxes neck, it yelped and shook Webwhisker harder. Webwhisker twisted in the air, loosing the dogs grasp, and kicked out with his hind legs. He sent the fox reeling back into the bushes and bore down upon the beasts upturned belly.

[Seth]

Mudclaw smiled at her courage. He sunk his teeth into the monster once more and pulled.With a cry of pain the dog let out a spasm of panic. Mudclaw backed up and waited for it's next move.

Acidstar continued to attack as the others did, her fur standing on end. The kit fox was taking the worst of it, and the mother fox was now moving protectiveley over to her kit, swiping out at the cats and aiming at whoever's head it came closest to. It lashed out with paws again, ducking her head low to the ground and nipping at Acidstar, catching her on the scruff of her back and picking her up in her jaws, shaking her furiously, but she didn't have a very good hold on the leader. Acidstar latched onto the mother foxes muzzle with her claws and she sunk her fangs into the tip of the snout, causing the mother fox to yowl in rage and shake Acidstar free, flinging her to the side as she landed a few tail lengths away, and the mother fox whirled, catching (?) by the ears..

[Seth]

(foxes are from the canine family! ;D)

Mudclaw watched in rage as the fox grabbed (?) by the ears. He hissed and spat at teh faox and lept onto it's back, fastening his teeth into the mother's neck.
