Darkheart had traveled a long time and yet, he was not tired. However his thirst was annoying... like a flea that you can't reach. He saw a pool of water in the distance and trotted over. He dipped his acid tongue into the water. it was freezing and it tasted like nothing known to him. His eyes lingered to the pool and to his suprise a cat's reflection sat before him. And it was not his own,it's pelt seemed to have stars within it. The cat was beautiful... so beautiful. "You are unwelcome. I see past you solumn face, and into your dark heart..." The pretty voice spoke. The cat began to fade, "You are unwelcome. You are unwelcome." The cat echoed. "no don't go!" Darkheart protested. But the pretty she-cat vanished...

[[If this was meant to be a private thread, i'll delete my post unless this is open]]Bluestar was in distraught in Starclan. Her silver blue tinted fur was standing on end, her smoke gray eyes reeped with stress. How could this be...? A darkclan cat in the sacred moon pool? Oh how could it be? Bluestar paced furiously back and forth. She had tried to reach him, tried to warn him he was unwelcome. How could this happen..?

Darkheart watched the motionless water with dismay. What had just happened? He curled his elongated body around one side of the pool and awaited for the she-cat's return. His deep grey eyes focused on the sun's reflection. He tried to find her. Tried to see into those beautiful eyes again. And yet the harder he tried, the harder it was to remember them. Anger flashed hot through his viens, his frustration starting to get to him. His fur raised and his cold eyes burned with hostility. HIs long black claws sank into the earth and he continued to watch the pool. "The longer I wait for you, the longer your making me stay."

Something was pulling at her, tugging at her. She was being summoned, but she couldn't be seen, no. Bluestar writhed, her body convulsed, shimmering. His summons were bringing her to the moon pool, but she was trying to remain in the spirit realm. Her place was not on earth, it was in Starclan, but this cat, it seemed, needed her, and fairly badly. As if it wanted something. Bluestar could feel her body flicker into the pool that the tom was staring into, "Must go....evil lurks....power!" her words faded in and out, full of pain and deceit. What could this mean?

Darkheart watched the she-cat flicker in and out of his view. "Stop! Just stay here, don't try and avoid me." He curled himself around the pool. The tip of his tail twitching eagerly. He waited for the pretty cat to return, only small words could be heard by the velvety voice. 'Like honey and velvet.' His mother used to say. The she-cat's voice was sweet, and addicting, like honey. Yet soft and beautiful like velvet. "Why do you try to avoid the inevitable? I am here, and I will not go until I am satified." Darkheart found his words confusing, even to himself. He wasn't really even sure what would satify him, but all he knew was that everytime the cat disapeared, he yearned for her return. Just to see her face one last time, he never felt this way for any other cat, and yet... he couldn't know if she was real or not. "If you disapear, I will wait for you." He spoke.

BLuestar heaved a sigh of defeat. His pull was strong, stronger then any other cats she felt. Her gaze flickered in the pool once more, but for this time, it hovered clearly for several seconds before shimmering out, only to slip back in moments later, "What is it you want from me?" her words were a hiss but it was smooth, non aggressive. Almost rushed.

Dawnsnow had listened to the tom talk to himself for too long, she sighed and walked away from the pool. She had been hiding in the grass, hoping to talk to her clanmate. Yet, he seemed intraced in the water. "Whatever." She hissed coldy, charging off to find something else to do. Something more time consuming.
Whitestorm watched in horror as Bluestar began to show herself to the dark tom. His ears flew back to his head, he would have never noticed she was doing so until he heard her speak. He hissed slowly and crouched down, Bluestar seemed to entraced to know he was here. He might as well wait it out, then confront her.

Darkheart shook his head, "I... I don't know." He admitted. He looked at the she-cat suddenly realizing the reason was simply to see her beautiful face. To hear her beautiful voice. He shook his head in discust.

Bluestar's eyes widened, and her form shimmered for several seconds more, and then disappeared completely. "Another time..." It was a whisper, almost as if she would get caught into trouble. Bluestar collapsed ont he soft ground of Starclan, if you could call it a ground. More like a cloud. How could he do that to her? A regular tom? A dark hearted tom, perhaps. She had little and barely any control of her form showing up, as if his words were a command and she HAD to obey. Oh, what had she done..

Darkheart snorted and stood from his crouch. He sprinted away, his strong legs propelling him away from her. He stopped in the forest and waited. His ears twitched and swivled. Until finally he found prey. A young hare grazed in the clearing while here he wait in the shadows. His vibrant orange eyes watched the rodent with fierce hostility and frustration. He crept closer and narrowed his eyes. His muscles bunched and he leapt. But the hare was faster, it swirved away. Darkheart leapt at it, grabbing it's flank by s claw. He pulled it closer to his body and swiftly killed it off. He devoured it and continued on his mission. Darkheart soon found himself bored and couldn't help but notice that his mind always drifted to the cat in the pond. He could stand it no longer. He raced to the pond and sat at it's edge. He gently touched the water's surface with his nose, his orange eyes still searching for her face.

It was as if time itself had disappeared for Bluestar. She lay on her side, silent, her eyes half closed, thinking. She was beyond time and space itself, until a ripple sent her fur to bristle, the stars in its blue gray colors alighting with the touch. This tom..whoever he was..he was back. Bluestar dare not show her face, she had done too much already, but in her mind, she allowed a short sentance to form, to spell itself out upon the moon pool.
Why do you pursue mysteries not of your own?

Darkheart grinned and flicked teh surface of the water with his tail. "Why do you hide your pretty face?" He replied. He knew she was avoiding him, but why... he did not know. She was one of those that had to know why everything happened while Darkheart was taught to forgive and forget, and never to question. "It's not about weathering the storm, it's about learning to dance in the rain." He quoted to her.

Bluestar shuddered as more feelings slithered through her body, to ache her bones and twirl them int heir fingers, her tail cringing and curling at the pain, as if writhing in pain. "These moments are not of your concern...you should not be here...," it was moments before Bluestar's face appeared once more into the pool, and this time it was crystal clear, her hackles raised and her lips pulled back into a snarl, "BE GONE!" "Look, sweetheart, I'm here, and I don't intend on leaving. You and I are the same, in a way. We both refuse our emotions. I'm done lying to myself." His once boxy, husky tone was now soft. Easing into a rhythmic melody. 'Like honey and velvet.' he remembered. His mother said this often in his kithood. He studied her once more, "And temper doesn't compliment you, my dear." he said with another grin. A new emotion jabbed at his side. What...? Was that.... was that self-hatred? It was true, he did hate himself. He hated himself for giving into his light emotions. A sign of weakness no doubt. His hackles raised. He shook his head, to many emotions... anger, frustration, was that love? fright, sadness, restraint, happiness and lastly... confusion. Darkheart searched the she-cats eyes once more, "I'm not leaving."
