The Team

(Acidstar, I mean who is in what group for hunting, not what you did in the cave. lol)

[Kasumi]

Kestral nodded also; a hunting trip sounded perfect Plus it would give the tribe a chance to see just how this new cat hunts. He wondered why Gorge had swiftly left after the new cat had came a bit too close. Silverpool seemed eager to know who was in what group, like a tiny kit wondering when he will be able to take down his first eagle. Kestral looked towards the sky to see a few eagles flying high.

[Seth]

Silverpool also saw the large birds that circled over head. She crouched lower, suddenly nervous. She tried not to think of her insecurities, she would show the clans that she was not weak. A new determination in her eyes as she looked to the sky, they would not live to see tomorrow.

Gorge raised his head and his ice eyes narrowed as one of the birds flew within reach. The stupid beast was about to attack while the others watched! Gorge reared onto his hind legs and yowled a piercing warning that echoed through the mountains, the bird seemed momentarily stunned and froze in mind air. The massive tom batted at the air and repeated his warning, this time ending it with a snake like hiss. He looked at Silverpool, then at the others. "I will go with Bolder, Wave and Silverpool. Kestral, you have Leaf. You two are experienced and I trust you're judgment." His ice eyes narrowed in a silent warning, 'protect them or I'll rip you're fur off and use it as a dirt-place'.

Leaf nodded slowly while casting Kestral a gentle glance. She trusted the cave-guard and she had been trained as a cave-guard before, she knew how to fight. Unlike Wave, she could easily fend off an eagle with the help of another cat. "On it, beetle-brain." She purred.

Wave flicked her tail and smiled at Bolder's old way of talking, her ears twitched slowly. "Of course." She purred, flicking her tail and touching Silverpool's shoulder comfortingly. "You'll do fine."

Boulder turned his head to the side, and his tail flicked in agreement. So the pairs were Gorge and he, Wave and Silverpool, and Kestral and Leaf. He nodded his head, murmuring something about finding prey in the caves, and then his mumbles faded as he turned, waiting for the others to leave, and he couldn't help but frown for a moment as he mumbled something else, and then seemed to snap back to reality with a silly grin.

(I am confused again... Is group one Gorge boulder wave and silverpool. Or bolder and gorge then silverpool and wave would be the second group? ><)
Silverpool smiled at Wave, how any cat could be so accepting was beyond her. She looked again at the sky, eagles still sweeping the sky. A tiny smile formed on her pretty face as she looked at them, they seemed so megestic, almost unreal as they glided through the air. She never saw these huge birds in the forest. Though she longed for the sound of trickling streams, the waterfall improvised them. And though she missed the familiar faces of her former clan, nothing compared to the warm smiles that awaited her here.

Gorge looked around and sighed. "So, Silverpool, Bolder, Wave, you come with me. Leaf and Kestral, you three be careful. These eagles are beetle-brained." He looked back up and hissed, arching his large back.

Wave smiled and looked at Gorge. "Your the beetle brain silly."

Leaf waved her tail and smiled, then gracefully padded over to join Kestral. Her tail tip twitched in unease as Gorge hissed and she looked at Wave. She was laughing a bit. "Let's go furball." she purred, flicking Kestral with her tail.

[Seth]

Silverpool laughed lightly then followed Gorge up the cliffs. it was beautiful at these hieghts. The highest she'd ever been was up a tree and back down, this wouldn't even compare. She smiled at the beauty. Her paws almost seemed to skip with happiness. The only thing that would back this better would be having Moonfur here. She sighed, then smiled when she reailzed she didn't want Gingerclaw here... at all. Her eyes trailed down the mountain, she could see the twoleg place and the lake. She could almost pick out the river as it flowed around her camp... the camp.

Gorge looked back over at Silverpool, she was staring at a lake. His tail flicked as Wave raced ahead, her long pelt brushing the wind and her yellow eyes bright. Gorge smiled a bit and looked back. "You coming?"

Wave looked back and waved her tail for silence, an eagle was preying on a rabbit just a few fox lengths ahead. She lowered herself and wished Leaf was there, but she wasn't. She creeped forwards slowly, keeping perfectly still accept for little bursts of running.

Boulder nodded vigorously, turning and following after Gorge without hesitation, his long tail flickering out behind him as mention of the eagles being beetle-brained, and he grinned in amusement, following silently.

[Seth]

Silverpool smiled and leaped after them. She was a ways away, she suddenly realized. She quickened her pace, trying to keep her gaze off of the lake. With one last bound she was standing next to Gorge. And she smiled invoulentarily, 'I didn't make a sound.' she realized with suprise, 'and I'm not panting.' she thought. So she started to watch Wave. Her amber eyes holding much interest.

[Kasumi]

Kestral followed after Leaf. He was eager to hunt today, so eager that he was ready to pounce on the first thing that moved. "Oh I'm the furball," he said jokingly. He looked towards Silverpool and the others. Kestral wondered how good she would do on hunting down the eagles. He bet that she's never taken down such prey where she came from.

[X. Acidstar .X]

Boulder sidled up next to Silverpool as the hunting parties began their adventure, and he grinned in a friendly manner, "So have you eva' seen a big'a eagle befo'? Or eata' one-a?" he asked in a mreow.

Wave flattened her ear as the eagle took flight. "Gorge!" She yowled loudly, leaping after the bird. Gorge's head shot up and he rocketed after Wave, his tail lashing as she came too close to the edge. He grabbed her scruff before she fell over the edge and hissed as they both scrambled for a moment, it seemed they would both plumet to the ground. "Have you bees in your brain!?" He snarled while pulling her back onto land, his eyes flashing. Wave looked down and scuffled her paws, Gorge sighed and they walked back. "Silverpool, the key to hunting in the moutains in stillness. You're stalking skills wil have no effect here." Gorge said, forcing his fur to lie flat.

Boulder jumped at the warning in Gorge's voice, and he started forward until he saw that Wave was saved by a somewhat agitated Gorge, and he let the words wash over them, blinking his calm gaze over Wave and flicking his tail in encouragement to keep a positive mind.
