Three shapes seemed to disloge from the rocks as an eagle landed on a young hare, the largest of the shapes, flicked his tail and the other two launched themselves into the air. Their mud plastered coats hid their scents well as the both landed on the eagle, it struggled and flapped under them, but the two held fast. The large tom walked over calmly, in no rush and slammed his paws on the eagles neck. A loud -SNAP- could be heard and the bird stopped. The tom looked over at the two she-cats, both nodded slowly. "That was the easiest eagle yet." A she-cat complained, licking her fur and showing the real color under the mud. Her pelt was an assortment of browns, blacks, fawns and grays. Her yellow eyes flashed as she looked at her tribe-mates. "Don't say that, Wave! The Tribe of Endless Hunting sent it, don't speak of you're gifts that way!" The other she-cat mewed, her blue eyes glinting. Her pelt was already clean and it showed her true colors. A black face with white markings, a grayish head and a dark tail and paws. The male groaned and grabbed the bird, both she-cats understood the tom. "Of course, Gorge." Wave, the colorful she-cat, meowed in a sassy voice. Wave slid under the catch woth Gorge on one side, the other she-cat, Leaf, looked towards the skies, guarding her friends with a violent silence. She grabbed the hare and trotted after them as they hauled the bird down the cliff and to the caves, they deposited their kill with many other birds, fish, mice, voles and one other eagle. The tribe would eat well tonight. Gorge stretched out slowly, as if he was stiff, and Leaf and Wave curled up beside him. Leaf extended her body out and pushed against his back, stretching out her paws. Wave laid her head across Gorges stomach so she was looking at Leaf's pelt, a purr rumbled in her throat.

Silverpool looked up at the well camouflaged cats. She wondered if they would accept her, "Hello, my name is Silverpool." She smiled at them. "I'm truly sorry if I'm interupting, but I need a home... even if it's temporary."

Gorge lifted his head to stare at the she-cat, he blinked slowly. What an odd name, where was her tribe? He slowly stood up and looked over the she-cat. She didn't even look well-fed like a Tribe cat would have, Gorge was utterly confused but astounded by her beauty. He dipped his head and extended his paw forwards in the Tribes normal greeting. With his paw extended and head bowed, he looked small until he sat back up. His well defined muscles rippled under his coat as he stared at her with soft eyes. "I am Gorge That Has No Bottom, and welcome Silverpool." He said in a deeply accented voice that matched his massive size. Leaf scrambled to her feet and stared at the she-cat, eyes widened slightly. She watched Gorge greet her and looked back at Silverpool. "I am Leaf Floating On Wind, or Leaf." She said slowly, tail flicking. She twitched one ear and stared at the she-cat, she did have an odd name. "Where do you come from?" She asked curiously, in her own heavily accented voice. "I am Light Reflecting Off Crashing Waves, Wave for short." Wave said, sitting up and licking her paw, then extending it in the same, oddly poliet gesture Gorge had done. "You are very welcome here, but our leader is away." She added slowly with a smile.

Silverpool's sad eyes lifted to the cats. Involuntarily, her gaze softened. These cats were so accepting, they didn't even question her. "Tribe? I do not come from a tribe, I come from a clan. By the lake down the mountain." Silverpool finally let herself feel tired. Her eyes drooped, as did her tail. "So you're... you're not rogues?" Silverpool thought it was fascinating that there were cats beyond the clans and loners. There were always kittypets but those were seen so often they were hardly considered intruders. She smiled weakly, she tried to put more emotion into it, but she hadn't slept since she left.

Leaf looked at the other she-cat curiously. "You're from the Clans?" She asked, slightly amazed. She noticed how tired Silverpool was, wrapped her tail around the cat and began dragging her gently to a nest. She stopped and looked down at a bed lined with moss and eagle feathers. "Sleep here, you look tired." She murmered.
Gorge watched them curiously, then grabbed a hare and padded over to Silverpool. He put it by her paws, and extended his paw in the same gesture as before and pushed the rabbit to her with his tail. He dipped his head and pushed his pelt to Leaf's. "Eat, young one." He said slowly, referring to both cats.
Wave stretched out in the sun as Gorge padded out, she smiled as he stretched out beside her.

Silverpool smiled at Gorge with gratitude. They were all so kind. She gnawed at the hare, then pulled herself into a small fetal position. She drowsily rested her head on the nesting then slowly closed her topaz eyes. With one last sigh of contempt she fell into unconsciousness. Her long tail was rapped around herself, grateful that she had found such forgiving cats. She thought for a moment that she could be dreaming but this was a good dream. She didn't yearn for Gingerclaw, she felt safe and accepted. Unlike Riverclan, she felt very out of place there, and yet she found she would do anything for them. She shoved the thought away and hoped that she would never awake from this beautiful dream.

---------------Morning--------------------
Gorge prodded Silverpool lightly on the side, looking down seriously at her with gentle eyes. Leaf and Wave were curled up beside each other a few nests away, both sleeping peacfully. Gorge needed to get his energy out and wanted to learn more about the stranger from the Clans. He prodded her again, waiting for her to awaken.

Silverpool woke and spotted a well muscled cat prodding her ribs. She panicked and leapt up, she pressed herself to the cavern walls, desprate to stay safe. Then she remembered the dream. She let out the breath she had been holding and smiled at Gorge. "My oppologies, I was so tired last night I didn't take notice of anything." SHe breathed. Silverpool looked around as if seeing everything for the first time. Gorge was a handsom cat, broad and yet he hhad a softness to him. She turned to Wave, his brown fur blended slightly with the bedding. Leaf was a beautiful cat coiled within the nest. SHe turned back to Gorge, his soft eyes still waiting. She straitened herself, "Are we going some where?" she asked quietly. She had a sudden spasm of fear, perhaps this was a trap... 'No, I'm dreaming. Nothing can hurt me.' she thought.

Gorge watched her leap around in fright and one ear twitched, he was slightly offended. He saw the fear glowing in her eyes and rested his tail on her shoulder. "Not if you don't want to. I'm going to hunt. I didn't want to wake Leaf and Wave." He said simply, clearly a cat of few words. He tail tip twitched lightly and he removedit from her shoulder, he looked around, then back down at Silverpool.

"No I would like to come. I want to know more about you." Silverpool said. She smiled slightly. (writers block...again)

Gorge blinked slowly, his ears twitched in slight confusion and unease as he padded to the mouth of the cave and looked back for Silverpool. He waited quietly for the she-cat, he leaned his weight against the cave wall and corssed his paws over each other in a slightly odd way. Then again, most things the tribe did were weird. Gorge looked back up and waited for her to show up, her words echoed slightly in his mind. She was pretty, no one could say that against her. Almost as beautiful as Wave, but less sassy.

She trotted after him. Had she really been so tired last night that she hadn't seen the waterfall? She looked at Gorge in disbelief. Slower this time she crept to his side, "Out there?" She asked slowly. She looked again at the tumbling water, she loved water, but leaping through that didn't seem very safe. She looked at Gorge again, slightly scared.

Gorge stiffled a laugh as she saw the waterfall, his tail tip twitched. "You don't jump through it, there's a path." He saw, genturing with his paw to a very thin ledge. He gave her a nudge with his nose. "You won't fall. If you do, the water is deep enough to break your fall but not deep enough for you to drown or get hurt." He said, his deeply accented voice almost completely drowned out by the water. All the tribe cats were used to the water and they could hear a kit whine from the far end of the cave, or even past the waterfall.

Silverpool couldn't decipher his words, but the very sound of his voice comforted her. She nodded to herself, then slid past the waterfall on the narrow ridge. She had her body pressed to the lip of the cave. With one last leap she reached the other side, then looked back for Gorge. She held her head up proudly. Slightly surprised that she had the courage to try. She took another look at the waterfall. It was huge and somehow majestic, she smiled then flicked her gaze to Gorge. His big muscles guiding him swiftly to the other side. She stared in awe. If only she could be that trusting of the waterfall.

Gorge watched her go, he held back a snort at her slow pace and when she was out of the way, he loped across. Soft pads pounding the moss as the water sprayed him a bit, he came out from the darkness and into the light with a purr. He tensed his muscles and released them as he looked upwards, keeping a sharp eye out for eagles. He shook himself and sent small water droplets all over the rocks and sand beneath his feet. He looked up. "Shall we go?"
